InfoSeeker12 said:HI Mkapadia,
You DONT need to pay anything for the GCMS - if you are residing inside Canada. You will just need to upload a scanned version of your Driver's License or any other document confirming your Canadian address on it.
Just go to the bottom of the page, Check box and continue.
Thanks for you information. I am still waiting for Medical. Do they process applications in Ontario first? Not sure.hopeinshahallah said:Hi zeecanigo,
I am from Ontario, got medicals on 23-April-2013, completed medicals on 30-April-2013. App Filed 17-Aug-2012, NOC 2173.
May I know where you reside? And, what is your NOC code?tdcec said:Just received my RPRF email today !!! I am feeling so relieved !!! Hoping for the medical email to come in a few days too

zeecaniago said:My friend who just got her PR suggested me to contact CIC to get the information about my application. She told me it will help the process faster. That's what she did and she got her PR in 8 months. I am a little bit hesitant to do it because others suggested me not to contact CIC. They could get annoyed by it and delay the application.
I like to know your opinion. Do you contact CIC regarding your application? Should we just wait?
From July 2012 thread, I found the following article that might explain the delay we are having right now.

Super......lol......ihabkal said:if contacting them makes things go faster I would've become a Canadian citizen by now. if you contact them too many times all you get is that they will give you the deaf ear every time you send something.
For what it's worth, I don't think zeecaniago meant contacting the call centre... Regardless, I don't think CIC will process your application faster just because you sent them an email.InfoSeeker12 said:@ Zee
I'd completely agree with Ihabkal. It can't possibly be true. The cic call center can have no impact on your application. At least i dont think that is possible.
Yes, even emailing CPP-ottawa or others, is not going to help. I have seen some members contacting their MPs - specially incase of sponsoring spouse and application has moved in those cases- but that's a completely different story.ondine said:For what it's worth, I don't think zeecaniago meant contacting the call centre... I did my eMedicals yesterday, my timeline is as below
Application Filed: 17-Aug-2012
AOR: 12-Sep-2012
Medicals Requested: 23-Apr-2013
eMedicals done: 30-Apr-2013
NOC: 2173
I have seen your discussion regarding getting Medicals and RRPF. I think the following are factors driving this.
Police Clearance Certificate Submitted along with the Application ?
Criminality Check Status (This takes time for individuals depends on how many country you have traveled)
GCMS Notes ever requested ? (I have requested for GCMS notes on March 26th. I received the notes on April 22nd and got medicals on April 23rd)
RRPF is request is sent if your employment letter and NOC code, Salary qualifies the category.
I tried MP,InfoSeeker12 said:Yes, even emailing CPP-ottawa or others, is not going to help. I have seen some members contacting their MPs - specially incase of sponsoring spouse and application has moved in those cases- but that's a completely different story.
