Hey, I just saw sept 2012 thread and jennlitt who applied on 4th sept already received her/his medical request..
just wondering how random is it ???

I got my MR on April 18 and my ECAS status still shows "Application Received". Just my two cents - I think the procedure for updating the status varies from one case officer to another. Some do it immediately; others I guess waits till after the receipt of medicals (or later) before making changes.

that's quite random. I am still waiting for MR too. Hopefully, we will get it soon.

That's perfectly normal, swahid. ECAS status usually takes a little while to be updated.

I was just reviewing my documents last week and found that the timelines that my employer put on my reference letter was incorrect. I got this corrected from my employers and emailed a soft-copy yesterday to ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca.
Will my application be impacted because of this? Would it be wise to send a hard copy of the document as well?

Seniors, please advise. I have also posted this query as a separate thread, but any answers will be appreciated.

If application was not touched, they might ask you to send hard copy via mail as well. Good Luck

Yet to receive RRPF Request. Some of my friends who applied on August 2012 got RRPF along with medicals.
