This is highly unpleasant response. More courtesy would have been appreciated.

Had I know this topic was limited to a certain group I would have not spent the last few months posting here and exchanging with others.

Changing the name of this topic from August 2012 PR Applications to August 2012 CEC forum. That way you can avoid people ‟increasing your tensions”.

My friend there is no need to change the name of this post to mention cec, as you have to go into the cec group before seeing the post.

I'm sure no one meant to offend you, they are just reminding you what this thread is for.

On a side note.. something else just struck me the other day.. I won't be surprised that there are tonnes of rejections that CIC does because applicants
1) do not spend enough time reading the literature
2) simply just read with one eye closed (hence; missing out on things which seem very obvious, if only they opened their eyes wider)

Hi all, just wanted to update my status on to this forum. They requested for my Police clearance from back home on Nov26th. They gave me till Jan26th to submit it and I did do so. Still waiting - I know its a tough process but hang in there people! : )

2) Also, we are around 8+ people with Application Received date of Aug 13.
3) June Applicants have started receiving MR which is a good sign that things are progressing now.

I am hoping by March through April all of us would have received our ME. I will be surprised if any of us who applied in August is still waiting for ME by mid May. I know the wait is killing buddy. Hang in there. Sure its on its way!

I got my AOR in sep,2012 , but nothing is showing when I check status online. Do they show CEC status online or not. ????

Yes, they show the status online. If you receive your AOR, when you check your status online, the status should be "Application received on <specific date>".
