My Application reached Syndey office on 13th August. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive AOR?

My application for PR under CEC was mailed on the 4th of August, I got my AOR on the 24th of the same month.. That's how fast it is now if you send ur app in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Hello all,
I applied since August 9th and my application got delivered via canada post on the Wednesday August 15th but It has been over 2 months now and my credit card has not been charged, no update online (hence) and no information. I called CIC and they told me to wait but it seems like everyone in august and even September have received a sort of response (payment cashed or AOR).


I checked the return parcel tracking number and no information as well so it was not returned.

Not sure what to do. Is there an email address to inquire about this?

Congratulation, it looks like you application has moved along quite well. I've also applyed under the QSW stream but my visa office is Nairobi, Africa.
Do you think that most people should expect to get the medical requests with 3 months ?

well I think it all depends on yours visa office. As Iam inland applicant(from MONTREAL)my visa office is cpp ottawa.... good luck.... and stay in contact....

Hi Bahadur30,

I had submitted my Birth Certificate issued by Indian Consulate in Toronto. But it was not accepted by CIC & my application was sent back. I got my parents to do the affidavit by a lawyer. I submitted it and it my application was submitted. Hope this helps.

Interestingly - I just talked to my Lawyer who helped me to apply FSW application and she said that she included secondary school Certificate in liue of Birth Certificate!

I have not seen this in forum anywhere !!!
