never mind, no freaking out for me. My credit card was charged today :).

UJBABY,

Can I ask what the lawyer is charging for this? I consulted with one and they were charging $4-5000 for this and I can't afford that. Going to try myself to file and then see what happens.

u should apply by urself, forget about lawyers; they are thieves. if u have questions filling out forms, senior members are here to help, goodluck.

@Dilli: Notice of Assesment is issued by Canada Revenue Agency after you file your taxes. Did you do your taxes in Canada? or are you applying from outside?

Also, does anyone else know what e-case is? and how I could get login information for it?

E-CAS (Electronic Client Application Status) is the online system which shows status of your PR application. See link below.

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

You can see your application status on E-CAS only after receiving your AOR. You can your use your Client Id or File Number to login, along with personal details like DOB, Last Name, Place of Birth etc.

Hi Guys,

If I understand this correctly by reading the forum for early 2012 applications, is it true to say our AOR is different than theirs, from what I understand Jan to May(ish) applicants have received their AOR in two months time and says its complete and send CPP-O and from there on they get medical, while our app we get AOR soon after payment cashed and in 20 days and doesn't mention where it will be processed ( which VO).

what are your thoughts??

DJ

I recieved my AOR today !!!
