On the second page of my GCMS I see the following

APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Assigned to: DA01664
Assigned by: JP5777
Due date: 2013/12/01

According to few folks in the forum, this is the due date for the VO DA01664 to finalize my application, if everything is in order.

What is the due date in your GCMS? What is the status of criminality?

My GCMS says eligibility and criminality are both passed. Security is hidden, but based on activity section I feel it is set as passed. Only Medical is in progress. Meds done on Nov 6th. Doctor uploaded on Nov 8th. No ecas update yet.

My "Due Date" is November 25, 2013..... Criminality: In Progress - but the Status says "No reportable trace" which was updated May 14, 2013 so I'm not sure what that means, to me I would think it's cleared but maybe hasn't been reviewed by the VO? I'm not sure. Like I said CIC told my MP that Criminality was still in process :-(

Sounds like you will be all done if they can hurry up and Pass your Medicals! I hope they do it soon for you ;D

and I also hope that once set passed, they don't revisit criminality and security again and again ! I don't know what happens in the black hole

I had received by wife's medical, its been 20 days since I got my wife's medical request. Is there any issue

Also, need your inputs

As I am back to India, requested CIC to change the address to india and they had already update after that can my case will move to India for this reason is it getting delayed ?

If I get passport request how the things work how do i send my PP to canada ?

Did you undergo medical exam in the last year? If yes, Visa officer would have seen the results and did not request medical exam for you. If not, email OttPilot-Immigration immediately and inform that you did not get medical request yet. They might have sent it to wrong email address. Also, I would suggest you to do upfront medical exam.

I'm not sure if the delay is because of you moving to India.

Regarding passport request: Indian passport cannot be sent through post outside of any country. If you get passport request when you're in India, you'd need to send an email to OttPilot-Immigration and request Visa stamping in New Delhi Office. Anybody get PPR/CoPR in the past week? Seems like things are slowing down compared to the previous few weeks.....

I've been monitoring October, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and March very closely ! I saw 1 PPR yesterday for a Dec 2012 applicant. A couple of PPRs last Friday for December.

But, a lot of people are getting RPRF and MR, mostly folks who applied in Jan and Feb 2013. Looks like CIC is not issuing PPR at the same pace as RPRF and MR. One can never understand CICs strategy. One other possibility is that everyone who completed MR is still stuck with criminality and security One can never know !

Anybody get PPR/CoPR in the past week? Seems like things are slowing down compared to the previous few weeks.....

It is not started. they were generated Sept 18th.

You should contact local MP . Unless security is passed, your file is going nowhere. I just can't understand the reason behind security being not started. Only if they start security, they can set it as passed.

As long as you don't have prior issues with security ( you have a common name which has been associated with security concerns etc), you should be good. As I said, they cannot do this unless they start security on your file.

Hi Mkapadia, I saw ur note to helo_canada about proving interest dedicated to live outside of quebec.
Iam in the same situation, could you please share the letter format.
I spoke to my hr and he accepted to give me a letter but asked me to give him a format if I know.
Please help me find.
