it was a very painless process and the border officers are MUCH nicer once you present the COPR to them. it took no longer than 10 minutes.

Could you please tell us which Visa Office was your file in? And did your application go "in process" somewhere in the middle?

Its NDVO, as soon as the file was forwarded to NDVO it was "in process"

Thank you, I will add it to the spreadsheet. 'Acknowledgement of Receipt from your Visa office after sponsor approval', when you received sponsorship approval from Mississiauga, you would have received a letter/email stating this, and we put the date of the sponsorship later on the spreadsheet.

Congratulations! That's really great!

I will probably be landing on May 7th. It depends a bit on the import permit for my pet parrot. We have to get a quaratine place approved, if it does get approved I will be landing on the 7th of May. I'm looking so much forward to it.
