Hi, I'm waiting for my AOR still but have some questions regarding the Quebec process. I applied through outside of Quebec because I thought we will settle in Vancouver; however i just got a job offer from Montreal, so do I just update CIC about my desired location of landing then once they give me my UCI? I don't have an address in Quebec though because my job starts in January.

Hey Scottishmaple,

I just checked my ecas a couple minutes ago thinking I'm going to see the same stuff, and they have added "Decision made" under sponsor and "Medical received" under both sponsor and applicant! So maybe the file has to wait until it is sent to the visa office to say "medical received" ?? If so that's also good news that maybe the file has already found its way to the visa office!

Anyone? Medical received can appear any time? or when the file gets to visa office and they match it up to my husband's file is when they will write medical received?

hmmmm I'm not sure. My application was sent to London in September so I have to assume that it is there now, as it only takes 10 days for me to receive a parcel etc from my husband. I would find it more frustrating for me, if it turns out that I am one of these people that never get an update. Perhaps London is slower....

Congratulations to everyone!! Hopefully more congratulations will be in order soon when we all get AOR from our visa offices! and then our visas! We can hope that everyone in August 2012 thread will make record time.

Does anyone know how long you have to stay living in the province you applied to? How much of a problem would it be to move to a different province after recieving PPR?
