Do you know if buffalo is working already on applications received in August? Our file was transferred on Nov.01/2011.awor said:I got a call from Vegreville today about our visitor extension - We hadn't paid enough (the kids each have to have a separate payment), so we paid what we owe and are faxing the receipt to the immigration officer, and from what she said, it sounds like it will be approved.
The interesting thing is our application was received the 2nd week of December and the site says they're working on applications received Nov 4th.
Hoping to get a 1 year VR so we can get health care!
Thanks vir_ajay for sharing your info! Yes. It has been 3 months already still no update on Ecase. Thank you, no they didn't mention anything to him, they just said that they would further their investigation, because we had everything (too perfect ) all answers were answered by my husband without any hesitations. Also from what my husband mentioned too was that the interviewing officer, was very rude, would not let him finish his sentences and also made no eye contact. She also hadn't opened our package prior to the interview, She opened once in the office together. He also gave her more pictures from my last trip to Turkey, and she said if I want to see them or anything else I will ask. Also when glancing briefly at them she only took a couple and threw down the others beside her like they were trash The strange thing is when they called him for the interview they asked him to bring a paper from the government, with family names on them which also included mine, along with more supporting evidence. She refused to accept it. He was treated very poorly there and I don't know what we can do about that. If having attitude or any other type of unacceptable behavior is not tolerated by us, then why should they have the right to be that way?
I am not too sure if anyone would know what steps we would have to take, once the final decision is made. If it is refused of course, we will fight until the end for our marriage. Do you know where I could find the actual human rights code for discrimination/Immigration misconduct for both Canada and European ( including Turkey as they are an Euroasian Country ) human rights law? Any advise would help and be so much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

You know what, as long as you know in your heart that your marriage is genuine, let them do what they want to, because in the end, they have no grounds to deny your hubby a visa, so I say cheer up, put back on that smile!
Think Positive!
*hugs*

I was wondering. The VO officer, was she Canadian or Turkish? How about in other offices? Are they all Canadians or not?
big congrats bdh................bdh said:OMG!! After all of that, my husband finally got his PPR!! The Embassy just called and asked him to send it as quickly as he can. Mind you, I am not complaining in the least because my HUSBAND IS FINALLY COMING HOME!!!
