August 2011 applicants lets get the waiting game started :)

Hi, can you tell me where is your VO, which country ?

I received verbal approval for sponorship but never recieved email or letter. this was CIC-M. Wife has visa and we are about to leave. VO is not important. We have completed our processing.

I just got confirmation of receipt from them, sent it on 22 August. I'm not even sure what I am waiting for next, does anyone know?

My wife called again the call center regarding our letter or email that we haven't received it yet,and they gave us our client id number.
So went to ecas to check, I can log in, but it says they received our application on July 20,2011????? We sent it on August 9,2011 and they received it 3 days later. is that a glitch or mistake?? and also it's written " We sent you a letter on October 6, 2011 " well haven't received anything yet, and we need the letter or email to apply for CSQ certificat in order to jump to 2nd stage..frustrating..

One more thing, when you log unto ecas, you should see two tabs, one that says "decision made" and another that says "application for permanent residence received"

I sent it in August, but ecas is showing July somehow.

Yes I do see those tabs,

Permanent Residence Application Status : In Process - "We received xxx's application for permanent residence on July 20, 2011.

We started processing xxx's application on October 26, 2011. "

Sponsorship Application Status : Decision Made - "We received your application to sponsor xxx on July 20, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 6, 2011.

We sent you a letter on October 6, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. "

I think the "July" is just a clerical error on their part. Why don't you call the CIC Service Centre and let them know about that error and let's see what they say.

Sponsorship updates have now been posted:

it's still 70 days and working on applications received on August 22, 2011.

I assure you all who are waiting that they are working on applications received after that date since mine was received on Aug. 22 and I got our approval last Friday!

They guy on the phone told us we were approved ( we already knew that because we called a couple of days/weeks ago ). It's just frustrating that it's taking almost a month to send a letter?! He said to wait until 3rd of December for a letter or email approval, he must be kidding me! So Basically I'm stuck, cannot advance to CSQ just yet.

Still no letter and we were approved October 20th and I still can't log in to ecas!! ugh!! maybe I'm doing something wrong!!
I keep getting this message~"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:"

yes I have my client id, then lastname, birthday and country of birth, exactly what they ask for ! in lower case and still nothing!

I just got an email from CIC now, I'm officially approved as a sponsor. Thank God.
