The agent, claimed to be "Chan" who I guess should be American chinese, says that as long as the case is in the final review stage there is now "due date". I will not call them any more. They all sound nice and patient but I got the feeling that it is in fact all fake, cold and mean.

I think I got the same guy last time. Now I am calling them every month, the guy said "you called last month", I said yes because I didn't get any update. He say your file is in final review stage, nothing to worry about. That's it

I can understand the high workload they are facing and all the delays. But at least they should give us some kind of "due date" so that we can make plans, especially for people like me who are staying and working in Canada. We need PR to find a better job and to have a stabler life.
