Aug/Sep/Oct Applicants Waiting for PPR

Called cic yesterday. Agent said everything is complete. Someone has to just make final decision. They don't know life is on hold here. If everything is complete why they are holding it. Just pissed...........

Tell me about it. My file has been complete since May 24, someone just has to make the final decision. So whoever is making the final decision has been sitting around for 78 days and counting -- why?? Are they going to wait another year to make a final decision??? I've been missing out on job opportunities all summer long because I still don't have PR while my complete file rots away somewhere because no one will make a final decision. Beyond belief.

Same situation! In fact there was one call centre representative who even told me final decision has been made.
No clue what's taking them so long! My file was set for RFV check on May25th!

I did! I did like 20 days ago. I should receive something in a week or 10 days. Fingers crossed!

Did you order your gcms notes ? I got this same msg when I sent them an inquiry about my application crossing the processing time of 20 months.

I called yesterday too. A lady said my file is fine now, she said process time now is 24 month, I should hear something back in Oct/Nov. I am Oct applicant, just don't understand if process time is 24 month how can she check my file. I was told they cannot access our file if process time has not been passed. Right?

That is bizarre no where on cic website is it mentioned any thing about processing time being 24 months.

My MP told me to wait until 1st week of September. If I wont hear something by then he will contact ottawa office again :'( .
