Is there any observation attached to the funds being shown to CIC and PPRs being issued on priority for people showing more funds ? Is there any relation ?

You should be able to prove the amount you say if they ask you to.

I have not asked for GCMS notes recently. The last GCMS notes was from June and it is in PACE since then.

I have got the GCMS notes yesterday.
Location was changed from CEC pending to PACE in the new notes.
Also in the notes i see "all requirements are met and RFV check".

Hoping to get PPR soon.
My current passport expires middle of june 2017.
so i am hoping to get PPR before middle of december
Because there has to 6 months validity on passport when we send them the Passport.

Or will there be any considerations since we are so close, i don't want to get delayed even further in getting new passport and sending it to CIC.

Where do you live? I have my passport expiring in less than six months and I got it renewed at the Consulate. I got the new passport in less than an hour.
