Their refusal is totally different. I'm corresponding with them - they haven't been refused for this reason.

Thank you for sharing your valuable input as I can see this case fuse worries and panic for PNP applicants like myself whose still outside the nominating province.

Guys,

Please update this thread of anything related to this topic. We would appreciate it. We hope cic will see our genuine intentions. I am submitting my SP today.

Hi,

EE AOR: feb 14 - OINP but currently residing in quebec.

is it good to send proof of intention before CIC request with CSE?

Hi Asivad

Can you please tell me what details do we need to furnish incase of CIC asking for settlement plan ?

Do you have sample format or any one who applied before and it is accepted by CIC?

Request your help in sharing the template or format which can help for everyone

THanks

No specific format - settlement plan is a very individualized document and unique to your situation.

Hey how are you? Have you provided your intention to settle to OINP before? If yes, i would suggest that you stick with that information for consistency and add few information for CIC. I would love to share the important points to include on your settlement plan, I cant send you the exact format i made ( for security reasons, we might be reviewed by the same officer and i dont want to risk the genuine intention to settle as settlement plan should be personalized)

Here's some tips:

1. Discuss why ur in alberta (in my case im a TFW of low skilled and not much opportunity for Low skilled for PR) but dont put AB on a bad light
2. Why OINP ( discuss the specific reason - could be weather, crime rate, job market, environment- such as indian or filipino community there
3. Are you planning to upgrade knowledge? Discuss if in the future you want to further study- site some schools in ON thats your prospect
4. Show effort that you researched the Place where you will settle- provide job research, community organization you will join in the future ( research for ur nationality organization names)
5. Prove that you will get established there- good credit report, tax filed on time
6. If you have a spouse, brag about your spouse credentials, how spouse will likely to easily get a job there to help you settle
7. Lastly, ask them for exploratory visit if they needed that for you to complete ur application

These are all the info i put on my Plan, never beg or make them feel pity about you- be confident on ur statements that you can survive there because you are good! Keep me posted hey! Goodluck!!!!

Guys,

Also, just today my BG is in progress- please pray for positive progress on my application!

Hi KyleCaspian

Thanks a lot for your information. Much Appreciated.

All the best and we wish everything would be smooth for you and you will get PPR soon

Thanks
Ajay

Did you order GCMS notes? This would help you track the progress of your file.

Hi Ca85,
Yes, I sent a settlement plan and received PPR 11 days later.

Hello audrey888 & Patica thanks for your response. It is very highly appreciated.

audrey888, No, I did not order any GCMS notes before, and I think I am going to order it tonight. However, I did call CIC this morning, and a nice lady told me that they are still working on my background check.

Patica, are you in Canada? when did you apply? when did you receive the request for the settlement plan? and lastly please where are you staying in Canada, do you live in the same province of nomination?

Is the background check is the last stage to finalize a pr application? How long does it take? Any ideas guys !!!
