There will be no endorsement this year. Nova Scotia reached their allowable applicants for 2019.
We will be processed next year.
Your employer could have give you this information aswell, if he contacted NS immigration.
Good day!

Is there an update with regards to Endorsement letter?

For all, who is waiting for their Endorsement approval.

I know that waiting can be tough as your future plan gets delayed, but just hang on and it should come for sure.

*From Nova Scotia Immigration Officer*
“We had significant uptake in the program and we are poised to reach our allocation. As we work through the last of the numbers we are hopeful that we can approve your applications, however at this point in time I cannot guarantee this. If we cannot process them now, we will be able to do this in January 2020.”
Good day!

May I know when is the resume of the approval/confirmation of endorsement letter? I am waiting for almost 3months.

Thank you...Godbless

Yesterday was New Years Day, which is a statutory holiday. So there can’t be any updates by now.

Hopefully they start giving endorsements by the end of the week or beginning next week.

Hello everyone,

I've applied for a Shift Manager position at a restaurant in Truro, Nova Scotia through the AIPP. I sent my application and all documents needed by the end of September 2019. In November, my potential employer heard from them and was told my application was in "a queue" ( a pile, really), waiting to be assigned to an officer. That was the last I heard from the province.

Anyone in a similar situation?

I'm very worried because I know that New Brunswick is not accepting any applications for jobs in the food and hospitality sectors anymore. I'm scared the same will happen (or is happening) in Nova Scotia. Please share any related information if you have one.

Nova Scotia filled its quota last year, that’s why you haven‘t heard anything yet. They start giving endorsements from now on and we have to wait for it. My employer also applied for mine by the end of September and we got the same Information. So we should hopefully get updates earlier this month.
Haven’t heard anything about not accepting specific occupations yet.

Hi,
Happy New Year!
I sent my PR application at Nov. 22th inland, but I didn't get any update or file number! Is it normal? Should I call them?
Thanks.

Happy to announce that my employer has received my endorsement. Now I just need to apply for PR and a work permit to go to Canada and wait for my PR there.

So far this is my timeline.
Job Offer: May 20th (Interviewed a few days before that via Skype)
Signed AIPP Job Offer: May 21st
Settlement Plan: June 12th
Endorsement Application Sent (to Nova Scotia): Sep. 19th
Endorsement Application AOR: Oct. 18th
Confirmation of Endorsement: Jan 6th (email received today, Jan. 7th)

So, it looks like NS has already resumed reviewing AIPP applications :)
