The all time lowest was 434. If you have time in your hand, I would suggest you to wait a bit. You may also try to improve your IELTS if possible for an additional boost to your score.robinsinghsobti said:I'm at 432, have Ontario's PT letter of interest.
Should I wait for ITA or apply for Ontario?
Thanks. My IELTS will expire in February. How much I should wait is a bit dicey, also depends on how much time OINP will take to process the application!Manylivesmanymasters said:In the same boat.. I would suggest getting all docs ready and wait for the next 2 draws to see how it goes.
If nothing works out then go ahead with OINP
Though it is only a speculation, people think that the time will be lesser since it no longer paper based. do you have all the documents ready though?robinsinghsobti said:Thanks. Not yet, but will be in a position to submit my application in a fortnight!Manylivesmanymasters said:Though it is only a speculation, people think that the time will be lesser since it no longer paper based. do you have all the documents ready though?
How about you?robinsinghsobti said:Not yet, but will be in a position to submit my application in a fortnight!
Same!! I don't have all of it in place though. Waiting for some and working on it.robinsinghsobti said:Not yet, but will be in a position to submit my application in a fortnight!
Hello guys I have the similar thoughts but being in a far lower CRS I decided to go on and apply OINP.Manylivesmanymasters said:Same!! I don't have all of it in place though. Waiting for some and working on it.
So yes, if I get the docs ready before another draw, I would go ahead and submit it.
Only thing we would lose is the $1500
Makes sense, thanks!limestone said:Hello guys I have the similar thoughts but being in a far lower CRS I decided to go on and apply OINP.
I wrote this before:
NOI has 6 months validity. But OINP declared they can open and shut down application intake. So say, "if" they shut the intake and do not come back 6 months. NOI is gone. But this is a radical example, extreme and unlikely. They said they will process application within 2-3months. So logically they must open it sooner. But the bird in hand is better than the one on wire. If you have low CRS and NOI. Apply soonest.
So for you guys, depending on your financial situation (to risk 1500CAD or not) you may want to wait at least one more draw. but remember this from OINP update page:
March 10, 2017
Please be advised that the deadline to submit your application under Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream may be fast approaching.
Unfortunately this is like poker, where your rival may change your cards whenever they like![]()
Got your point! +1xpressentry said:Take what you get and don't wait for fate. Nobody expected such a long gap and there is no guarantee that the scores will drop. It shouldn't happen that you lose OINP in the hope that scores will drop and then if the scores don't drop you will be neither here nor there. I know $1500 is a large amount but if you can spend that for some security that will give you 600 points then go for it.
So true. now it looks like better risking the money than waitxpressentry said:Take what you get and don't wait for fate. I think this is CICs intention. If they drop the cut off, nobody will opt for PNP and provinces won't make money.jackdawn said:So true. now it looks like better risking the money than wait
