you have post graduate work permit?if you have then you cannot extend that type of work permit and if you have closed or LMIA based work permit them you have to extend it but again very lenghty and hectic process . .

In province of Quebec, if you hold a CSQ, then you are exempt to fulfill the Labour Market Impact Assessment. Thus you can have a employer based work permit.

I do not have CSQ yet , I am still in the initial stage, I only have VJO, Waiting for invitation. My employer wanted to Apply for LMIA. I need information particularly on facilitated LMIA? Job NOC: 2232. Job location: Montreal.

Mon project submission - 10 Jul 2019
Docs Request - 13 Sep 2019
Docs Sent - 29 Sep2019
Docs Acknowledgement - 03 OCT 2019

There after no response. I called them, they said it may take upto 6 months, we have no other information on your file.

I am currently working in Quebec. Any guidance highly appreciated!

hello guys im from 18K, i got the invitation on 04 july as i did the french and the office that time were closed the results took almost 1 month and i submit the monprojet on august my number is around 900 its more than 5 months and i dont have any doc request.
i have french B2 , english etc is anybody in the same situation like me its really bad this long wait...
