It means nothing since some people have received their csq, we don't know why some people were processed and others not...

it depends on immigration officer i guess ,some respond fast and some just delaying but they never ever do what they say in front of public or media .

I agree, definitely, they are not following the file numbers sequence, it depends on the profiles (VJO, Inland/Outland, working or not, etc), and no, I don't have the official info about it, it's just a guess and rumours from all the media and immigration blogs.

Then you cannot extend your work permit,the only think you can do is to take visitor extension ,first they will give you 6 months and then again 6 months so you can stay one year as a visitor and if you get csq bfore your status expires then you can apply for closed work permit and they can give you for 2 years through CSQ ,otherwise you can get visitor extension easily for 6 months.

I asked a lawyer he said apply for work extension they will not give but ah the same time you win time and for 4 months that they will answer probably i will have the CSQ.

Dont apply work permit again ,for sure it will reject ,and if you dont get csq in a mean time then you have to leave Canda and in any case rejection is not good at all , i faced same problem ,i was waiting for csq and my work permit expired last year so i applied visitor extension and i got it so you can apply extension and wait for csq because for sure you will extension for 6 months and then if you get csq then well n good but if not then you can apply extension for another 6 months and in a mean time you will get your CSQ hopefully .. And you have to apply visitor extension 30 days before your visa expiration date and you have atleast 6 to 7000 $ in your account as a financial proof for next six months .

I have a Question I am one of the victim of bill 9 I have a vjo that was issued first time in January 2018 I applied for a CSQ then application cancelled in Feb 2019 after this I applied again through Arrima got invitation in July 2019 then in August they asked me for a renewal, I renewed my VJO same month September. Still, no documents request now I am worried if they didnt ask for a documents request

Do I need to renew my vjo again ?

Is there anyone who has an experience of renewing it for many times ?

The 6-month period begins on the date when all the information required to process your application (forms and documents) has been received and added to your file.

So they're lying from the biginning since they can ask for the documents when ever they want !
It's so unfair for people living in Quebec because we have a temporary permit.

Exactly. Quebec's immigration system is messed up totally. Since the beginning, they play with everyone.

I dont think you need to renew it as long as you didnt change your job. It can be reflected on your employment letter.

However, were you invited by Arrima in July 2019, and still you havent received document list???

If u gave all documents in 2018 then may be your all documents are correct and they dont need more or new documents,but its only guess ,and if you are invited then you dont need to renew it again because my letter of experience and french result was expired right after invitation but they only asked for other documents in documents requeslst so in your case its a hope that they will not ask you for new letter . .

I do not believe people in MIFI information service

I won't be elligible for PEQ until june but with my present permit valid until 30th november, I must be very carreful. With the CSQ I can ask for a closed work permit very easily to my employer. Without it we'll have to ask for a CAQ and an EIMT, which is longer and expensive.

Not yet, I asked for an appointment, I'll tell you
