Page 8 question 7 of spousal sponsorship checklist. It asks if you and your sponsor are currently living together. then it give two options No and Yes
There are two requirement to be filled if someone selects "NO"
And there are 6 options but have to choose only two out of six If someone says "yes"

My spouse is not living with me right now So I will choose "No" So my question is Do I still have to provide those two documents from ' YES Option" like rental agreement, utility bill, document showing same address?
As I researched through the forum, it seems like i have to provide those two documents even If I say we are not living together, as many people on the forum seem to have submitted it with their application.
but it make not sense if I did not answer "yes" I should not be required to submit those documents?
Please answer. thanks

Sorry I was unable to copy paste that part of checklist.
Personal experience will be appreciated.

If your answer is “No” then you do not have to provide those two documents from the “Yes” option. But many people submitted them anyway as an extra proof just because they had those utility bills etc but it is not a mandatory.

Thank you for your valuable reply.
On Additional family information form, under the relationship sub option it says married-physically present and married-not physically present? what does that mean and which option to select?

Married physically present basically means if you were physically present at your wedding ceremony. They ask this question because IRCC don’t recognize proxy marriages (when one of the spouses or both of them were not physically present at their wedding) so it is important for both of you to be physically present at the wedding for your marriage to be considered legal in the eyes of IRCC.
