Are they holding refused cases?

Alright man, after being a watcher for so long , created account to vent out my frustration , I do feel they are holding up refusals and approvals , approvals to stop people from rush entering the Canada and refusals from reapplying before fall. But what the ircc don't get is the money that's been handed over to colleges ( from my side 24k for college and 10 k in GIC ) . I rish it losing it all when the uncertainty looms forever .

Holding refusal is the worst thing ircc can do with the students.

Yes, but theres no guarantee that colleges is capable of refunding by next year. Do the math, low intake on may and sept with student deferring. Operational cost is higher because they have to operate in-person and virtual and also facility upgrade is required for safe reopening. Without government financial aid schools will be broke.

I saw Jain overseas's post, on 13th - 14th August they said they received 300+ AIP and not a single rejection this is not possible in normal condition unless ircc is holding up refused files

That's how consultancy would promote themselves. Why would they post about rejections?
It's bad for their business.
Btw few ppl did post about their rejections here.

Related to sheet.. you are welcome to enter info or leave it.. instead of looking in to 50 threads to figure out where everyone stands, its just gathered at one place for the convenience. Think of it whatever you want to think. At least 60+ other applicants think otherwise.

BTW, the reason I created sheet this time around is.. a family member of mine has applied for Study permit.. and we used to have (still have) these types threads/sheet for skilled worker immigrations (you can go and find them). Its was a blessing at that time, it still is in these unprecedented times if you appreciate the effort. Once the process is over .. that sheet will be taken down and everything with it.

Anytime. But I should suggest to order at least 25 days before your refund deadline. It's usually generated with in a week when you receive it.

Are they holding up refused application till sept 15 and only giving decision to those with 1st stage approval?

well i saw somebody with the same case and she did not get any answer so when she asked for GCMS, her application was approved in the note but still she did get any answer yet, so the thing is they are holding both approval and the refusal and they don't have time to answer because they are dawning in application. that's only a guess. so to those who are still waiting since long I advice them to ask for GCMS perhaps decision has been made and they are hold it for unknown reason
