Are Online applications sent to visa offices?

Hello Guys,

I submitted an online application for a study permit on October 10, 2013. I just want to know if my application was sent to the Canadian Consulate in Canada or to the visa office near me. I live in New Jersey which makes New York the closest visa office but I know they don't work on study permit inside the United States. I want to know where my application is sent to in order to check the processing times. Any ideas and information will be greatly appreciated!

i believe all online appl for study permit sent from usa will be processed in LA..I have submitted mine online on nov 5 for study permit.

Ok thank you very much for the information. And also will it take exactly 10 weeks to process or it could take less time?

It is interesting. checked online timetable and there is no estimated time for online application.
