Are Documents Returned?

Hello,

When I apply for proof Canadian citizenship there are a number of documents that must be included in the application package—birth certificates, etc.

Will those documents be returned to me at the end of the application process, or are they kept?

You didnt need to submit original documents for proof of citizenship. The application specifically stated to not include any originals. Only certified copies are only required. Don't think they return any documents as they will keep in on file with citizenship records.
