I know someone who got rejected too today based on financial assets and family ties in Canada and at home. Their application date was in the 3rd week of April
Are they processing files on the opposite way around? Like most of the decision two week ago were for June/May applicants and from then it seems to be moving back week by week. It is 4th or 5th decision on April applicants I am hearing this week. Out of those at least 3 seems to be rejection tho. what the heck are they doing?

That is a nice theory, but there is no telling at this point. Your profile is still being processed faster than the most of us (maybe because its SDS) as you have submitted biometrics in June. Most of us have submitted complete applications before 15th May and still we don't have any decision.

All that can be done is to wait and not think too much on finding a pattern for approval/refusals.

True. I am just trying to find pattern to feel a little better but I guess it could be doing more harm than good. I am still kinda grateful I got to give my biometrics, which was the thing that hit me the most. Anyway August 06th, hopefully they won't get past that on giving all of us a decision.

I understand mate, even I am trying ways to find peace with what is going on. Many are even calling IRCC, I am too scared to even do that, worrying it could count as a negative on my application. So yes, I would like to believe in IRCC till 6th of August.

Not sure if relevant update - I just talked to IRCC and the agent told me that I have passed my eligibility review. When i asked if it is a good news, she said "Its an excellent news and wait for remaining formalities".

So guys, dont lose hope. GC still shows that its under review but thats how it is. Also, BVL says that my application is being processed at Ottawa but my primary visa office is New Delhi. So, I have often seen this that people keep on getting confused form the BVL office. Biometrics and Medical are processed internally at Ottawa office but decision is mostly made by the local office. The agent was super nice to tell me that although BVL contains Canadian office name, my form is at the New Delhi office. Anyways, it was a big relief as I have been waiting for PPR from the last 3 months. I hope this helps in bringing down the anxiety of fellow forum members.

Congratulations!!! Looks like ppr on the way!!

I agree with this. But only SDS files get an answer from them. Non-SDS don’t.
