Some good news though. Regarding the August 6 deadline, they were adamant that the application before May 15 WILL be processed by August 6. Also, application may have already been processed but not updated in GCkey because passport service is not resumed in India. So, we can expect ppr when the passport service resumes
Aaah, looks like a good news. Is it for SDS or Non SDS?

Yes but whats new! We knew about May 15 deadline since April! but she also said something about PPR is different, the client can check approval status in gc key (like they ever update regularly).

Good news? Maybe. Old news? Definitely. Like what value did this information add?

Again and again she is saying ‘priority is apps before May 15’ when they are giving out PPRs to even June 23 applicants!!! Lol

We have to take what we get. Yes, it's old news and doesn't add anything. These infos are shit, but this shit smells less worse than other shit.

Hii everyone I have applied for study permit from India and I applied in April 2nd 2021 under non sds category. I got mine medical updated on 29th April and biometrics done on 3rd April and updated by 7th April, the application says still being processed with eligibility criteria in progress. Does anyone have any idea regarding the processing. I have heard that non sds takes a bit longer than sds. I have already paid one semester fees and showed almost 26lakh for my savings.

Many of us are on the same boat. As per the webinar today, they have not sent ppr request because passport service is unavailable in India right now. Take all of this with a grain of salt and hope a decision is made by August 6.

I had raised a webform. They didn’t reply. I had sent my medical reports. They did not reply.

Even on webforms they say they won’t reply if not completely necessary. Even after medicals I didn’t receive a reply.

On phone calls they said please EMAIL us if you want status updates.

And now on mail they are bullshitting about no status update?

Non-SDS application is a crime even when you are paying 1 Cr to them and SDS is okay even if the fee is 7.5 lacs? Like wtf is wrong?? No way to even get an update? What is the accountability?
S.A.D.
So I did receive a mumbled jumbled reply from them on my email. Nothing useful. Copy Paste asking me to:
Sit your ass down
Wait
For Fate
To hand you your decision
Pretty late...

La la la la la. *Laughs in JOKER*

Damn man, in today's webinar, IRCC officer was shamelessly saying that PPR is being issued on first come first serve basis and those who have not received it is because of incomplete application. Pure BS, in that case they could have asked for the documents which are missing.

Also, did you write TOEFL or IELTS?

I called them out on a lot of their BS but no questions taken. But the host is hell bent on getting A grade on her KPI ratings this year. She didn’t even ask one challenging question. Kept wasting time on ‘Tell students how can they reach Alaska via Timbaktoo’.. and laughing at the PJs. Sad life.

anyone asked them this question?
They said it might be because our application are incomplete, which is definitely not true. So, they're surely lying because they don't have the answer. They didn't say much except that we will get a decision by August 6.

Hello everyone,
I applied today for non-sds program.

There is one question in IMM 1295:
Have you previously applied for enter / remain in Canada ?
I said yes, I applied for post graduate work permit in Canada in May, 2017.

I just thought and got to know I did mistake in application form because the latest I applied for work visa which was approved as well in back May, 2017 instead of Post graduate work permit.

What can I do for that mistake now??

Do I need to do biometrics myself or wait for their reply to ask me to do ??

Thanks

She was not answering why those who gave biometrics after June 21 got PPRs but yeah this hint was a good indicator that previous complete files are on hold solely due to VACs having suspended 2W courier.
