Hello Everyone,

I applied in Apr 2024 and Citizenship Test I got on July 9th So I already wrote the Test and Passed.

Now I got another email for RCMP Fingerprint to be done in a month.

Anyone have any idea? Do I need to go to Local Police Service or Any specific office?
Do I need to take an appointment & how?
Is there any portal or link to check the steps?

You can go to RCMP or an accredited company for fingerprinting.

Yesterday I got reply on the email to take the test outside of Canada, still one question. Does this email means they will slowly process my application? Like non-routine application. Do I need to be in Canada ASAP so my processing wont delay? My processing office is Montreal. The email is as follows:

To proceed with the online test from your location outside Canada you can access the link, found in the test invitation that was previously emailed to you, within the specified time period.

When you come back in Canada, please provide us with your proof of entry in Canada such as a copy of your plane ticket, boarding pass or passport stamp.

In many cases it does slow down. Also it triggers an interview process with IRCC for which you need to be in Canada.

Hello, i submitted my application on April 24, 2024. Already passed the citizenship test and also submitted fingerprints last week. For some reason, i am still unable to see my application status. I tried registering with the tracker link, tried ECAS and submitted a web form for this issue, but nothing worked. Is anyone else in the same situation? The only portal i can access is the application portal and the status there is stucked at "application submitted". I was wondering what to expect after the steps i completed and how long it takes after fingerprints to receive the oat letter?. Thanks

Yes, i did and its not working. It says a code will be sent to my email every time but i dont get the code. I tried this countless times and i still dont receieve the code.
