Certificate will be available only after oath once you send the signed oath form back. You should get the oath within a week or so.

I just got an update to download my certificate but I don’t have a date yet . I checked my online profile and no update yet . How long do I wait for to receive the oath date? I also tried to download the certificate it says to wait 2-5 business days

Hi everyone,

I have also been a silent member for a while. My AOR is April 8th. The only step completed for me is the citizenship test (marked as completed on July 16th). I’ve been so anxious about my application because it looks like it’s taking longer than everyone else’s (I know that this comparison is pointless since every office and application is different, but it’s been frustrating). My application is with the Niagara office.

I managed to speak to an agent today and he told me “It’s just a matter of waiting”…not much I can do at this point.

I guess I’m posting this in case someone else who might be in the same boat knows that they’re not alone! Best of luck for everyone who’s still waiting. Hopefully our turn will come soon!

do not want to give you hard time, thu still so many people including me have been waiting since Jan 2024 ( even 2023) and stuck at Security screen phase. hope you guys are not going to deal with this. its not just matter of time, its also matter of third party and how fast they are working.

You have to create your own account and 1 minor and your wife will create her own account.
From your account you will invite her then it will be a family application.
You will fill your application and your son application on your account and your wife will fill her application on her account.
After you all sign the applications you can submit it as family.

I noticed almost every application shared here has LPP got completed at the same day.

my Language and Presence been completed late August 2024, but Prohibition (which is the only thing not conpleted yet) been waiting since that day!

Anyone here same like me?

Since the processing time on ircc website is now 6 months, and been more than 6 months since I applied, I will go to the my MP/MPP tomorrow to get some help!!!
I also made a second inquiry through web form few days ago, I got a template response for my first inquiry in September!

Exact same scenario got my lpp completed on 26 Aug . Still waiting for background and prohibitions to be completed . No update since 29 august

I called IRCC today (since my last update on file is still on 05/30) and the agent I spoke to told me he will send a reminder to my processing office as my application exceeded 6 months. I hope I will have hear back from them soon.

New update on my husband aplication. Background turned green on October 31. Exactly 2 months after last update. Still nothing on my aplications. I am pretty sure that even thou , we did filed our aplications separately, they find out we are married and now waiting for my husband case to be completed. Hopefully everything else will turn green for him soon and we will recive oath invitation. Fingers cross. Btw the processing time is again 7 months.
My husban and I applied on april 15 with AOR April 19, so its almost 7 monyhs.

My partner applied for citizenship in April and she completed her test on May 29. She hasn't received any update since that and its been over 5 months. Is this normal or should we be worried about anything? is there anything we can do other than waiting? Just wanted to see if there is anyone else in similar situation.
