Hello all, I took my Citizenship test on September 5th and my portal says its still waiting for me to take the test, is this normal or should I call to check?

Yes, in some cases it took up to a week or two.

Received the Notice to Appear for a virtual oath ceremony on Sept 25th via email today. Tracker still shows Ceremony as Not Started, I believe it's usually 2 days behind. I had received the test invite from SCR office, fingerprints from Vancouver and the oath has been sent by Mississauga office.

My tracker still has not been updated for the Oath Ceremony. Shows Ceremony as Not Started. Should I be concerned? Usually tracker precedes the oath email.

Email is the final confirmation. Tracker sometimes lags and in some cases does not even get updated. You need not worry.

Two months + since test and BG done, still no LPP. As per GCMS, LPP review has been assigned to RC8090. When can this wait game gets over.

Application: Single

Applied Online from Toronto - April 23, 2023

AOR from Sydney - May 17, 2023

Fingerprint request from Vancouver - June 22, 2023

Scheduled for Citizenship test from Scarborough - June 23, 2023

Fingerprints submitted - July 5, 2023

Citizenship test done - July 7, 2023

Citizenship test status updated to completed - July 10, 2023

Fingerprints received - July 19, 2023

Background check status updated to completed - July 20, 2023

So this is a bit strange - there have been no further updates on my tracker about LPP or Ceremony but I received an invitation to take my virtual oath on September 22nd this morning. This whole application process seems so random, I guess the tracker isn’t entirely reliable.

HI all
I had my online oath on 12th. Before the oath, I received an email saying I need to login to my IRCC account to download citizenship certificate when available. I don't remember creating an IRCC account but I must have so I just went to the link and entered email and password that I assumed would work. And it did. Turns out I had previously used the IRCC portal with my email address name to submit an application for my mother's visit visa. The account profile said her name which I had to edit.

I did see a download citizenship certificate option and I clicked on it. It asked me to enter UCI and application number etc. and the message popped up to say:


There were issues submitting your form.

• Your e-Certificate is not available. Please try again 2-5 business days after you provided your signed Oath of Citizenship.

Does anyone know if this messaging is normal or if I am entering something incorrect. Confused by the message 'there were issues submitting your form'. Can anyone confirm if this is the message you receive up until e-certificate is available? Anyone who had their ceremony on Sep 12 and can access the e-certificate? I am wondering if having my mother's name in account profile messed things up? Any number that I can reach out to, to confirm? Appreciate all support.

OR should I make a new IRCC account with another email address (that is not on my file)? Woudl that matter given that my UCI, application number etc. remains same and just the email login changes. Very anxious.

Applied as family (2 of us)
Background and LPP completed for 1 application and nothing for the other one, not even background?

Anyone has any idea what is going on here?

The wife's LPP is not updated yet though we filed on the same date

** we have not been asked for any Finger Print.
for both of us AOR from Sydney office and Test from Niagra office

Wondering when can we expect the oath to happen as we have plan to go out of the country at DEC end 2023.
Would be a great help if someone could provide any lead ?

Oh, I thought this was an exceptional case.

Are you also the main applicant?

In my case, I am the main applicant and nothing has been updated for me, however, the secondary applicant got their LPP
