It's called ghost update. Someone worked on your file but did not result in any change of status.

Hi, I see you have the German flag! I am German too, I was wondering what will happen with our German passports once we become Canadian citizen? Germany doesn't allow dual citizenship, correct?

Hi. I actually applied for keeping my citizenship. And got approved. If I were you I would wait maybe a year or two. Apparently they're in the process of changing everything and you can just keep the citizenship without applying for it. I was at the embassy on June 12th and that's what the officer told me.
It was supposed to be done already in March this year but it's German bureaucracy.

If you keep comparing to others you are going to have a tough time. There would be applicants who would be done with their application in 3 months and there would be others taking close to ~12 months. Better compare it with other applicants in the same processing office. That would give you a fair idea about how things will move for you.

Although their instructions tell us to contact them but that seems to be if contact info has changed- "If you haven’t gotten it 6 calendar days before the event, check your junk mail folder and contact our Client Support Centre to make sure we have the right contact information for you."

I am thinking to wait for the email. Also assuming that if I try to take the test within the dates mentioned in the tracker then I would be allowed to proceed and email will be irrelevant. Hoping someone can confirm if the email is absolutely mandatory and contains any unique information required for the test OR it is fine to just proceed during the allowed test period and complete the test

@Finland , are you in Hamilton, i'm also in Hamilton and BG completed on June 13 but haven't got test invite yet too.
