We are family of 3 including a minor so planning for paper based. Please confirm if we can apply online as well?

Yes, parents applying together with a minor can apply online

As a minor, the minor must:

• be under 18 years of age on the day you sign the application
• be a permanent resident (landed immigrant) of Canada
• have at least one parent (includes legally adoptive parent) who is a Canadian citizen or who will become a citizen at the same time as you (applying together as a family)
• can’t have any unfulfilled conditions relating to their permanent resident status
• can’t be under a removal order (asked by Canadian officials to leave Canada)
• can’t be inadmissible or prohibited on criminal or security grounds.

EDIT: if you use the screening tool, you can clearly see that minor applying with at least one parent who will become a citizen together at the same time can apply online

Hi All,

planning to submit my application (by Paper). One query :

1. Do we need to submit PCC certification in original or photocopy is okay ?
2. Also I am of Indian origin/passport holder but stayed in UK since 2014. Do I need to submit Indian PCC as well ? I never been to India for more than 183 days in past 4years period or before.

Which PCC are you wanting to attach? Were you outside of Canada for 183 days in last 4 years?

yes I was in UK in 2019-2020 so attaching UK PCC.

yes I was in UK in 2019-2020 so attaching UK PCC.

Assuming that was your country of residence and you filed your PR from there, then you wont need it. Additionally, if you have left UK even for a day and that breaks the continuation then you dont need it too.
