I was in US before moving to Canada in work permit and eventually got PR here. Now applying for citizenship and have some questions on whether PCC is required or not ?Assuming that was your country of residence and you filed your PR from there, then you wont need it. Additionally, if you have left UK even for a day and that breaks the continuation then you dont need it too.

1)Correct, no new or old PCC needed if less than 183 days.I was in US before moving to Canada in work permit and eventually got PR here. Now applying for citizenship and have some questions on whether PCC is required or not ?
The online questionnaire states "In the past 4 years, were you in a country or territory other than Canada for 183 days or more in a row (since the age of 18)?"
1. In this case our situation is we stayed in US < 183 days in the 4 year period. So we can give answer as NO and not attach any PCC including the one which we submitted during PR application.
2. If we got a new passport should a new PCC be initiated ?
