I tried the inspect trick and got to know there was an update made in my profile on June 6th with 'Key: Initial'. Anyone in the group knows that the 'Initial' stands for?
Have the same question.
Unfortunately, the last update for my application was on the day they sent me BIL. Nothing after that.

I assumed it was some profile initialize thing, because mine was created on April 28, which is the date I submitted my application.

what's your timeline?
I'm also FSW-O from Nigeria...

April 3 - AOR
May 2 - BIL, MEP (Tracker and GCKey)
May 15 - ADR
Jun 15 - ADR review / Acknowledgement (GCKey)
Jun 30 - BGC completed (Tracker)
Jul 6 - Eligibility completed (Tracker)
Jul 6 - RFV email

That's good. Sign up for the tracker and start tracking your application then. If your rep has created your credentials already in the PR tracker:
1. you can either ask them for it
2. or, you can do "forgot password" and set a new password
I got the access to my tracker account. All the 4 sections now show that everything is completed. The last update was for Background Verification- Completed on 19th June. And no update since then.
Can you tell what can i expect further.

Only one thing to expect - RFV email or a PPR letter in GCKey :)

Whitelist "cic.gc.ca" over email.

Similar scenario. Everything completed on the tracker since June 26. No further updates.

How long do you think it should take or it usually takes?
There's no timeline for this. Some people get RFV/PPR within a day and some have been waiting for months.

@Rocky@69 There's no time as Markcm said. But a few weeks or two months is what we're seeing. We don't understand the reason (e.g. are they using a virtual queue here that's considered in issuing RFVs/PPRs?) - since this behavior is so new(PR tracker was launched earlier this year), we don't have actual commentary from lawyers and actual experts in the space to say anything.

I get what you are saying but now i fail to understand that the GC Key account has different things to say.
There it says that the background verification is being processed. However here in the tracker it shows as completed a long back ago.
Why so?

Think of GCKey as a legacy product. It was designed to support slowly processed applications. Most likely the database behind GCkey and PR tracker is different too (both get updated differently).

In reality, GCKey and PR tracker both lag behind the real application updates. I've seen several cases where the PR tracker was updated 1-2 days after the completion dates on GCMS notes. In my own case, my BGS and Eligibility were marked completed on the PR tracker 2 days after I received my RFV. GCKey was "in progress" for both till the day my passports were stamped.
