FWIW, March AORs thought that they were slower compared to Jan AORs. Look at them now, you April AORs are jealous of them :D There's a pattern here of "feeling slow": CECs think they are slower than FSWs. PNPs think they are slower than FSW, CEC, etc. This despite us being processed more or less the same way.

Technically, all inland candidates go through Security screening record check - IRPA 34: This is not handled by IRCC, but by CSIS - so an external department takes on a work. This could lead to delays. No way of saying this without looking through CREATED BY and UPDATED BY dates from GCMS notes.

Most outland candidates would skip that step. But on the other hand, your province could've already finished your security too. Hopefully, you'll never get to learn about your application through a GCMS note and be processed fast.
I don't think people are jealous here but are concerned - as lot need to be planned for the future and it all depends on how these things getting cleared. It's same for all - no matter they are PNP, CEC or FSW. Till the time we get a PPR request most of us here are anxious !

If you're Outland Candidate you were supposed to give upfront medical and upload IME (Medical Sheet provided by Hospital).

Yes, we FSW-O. We did not have the exam itself yet, but only booked an appointment. And uploaded the booking confirmation email.

You are only supposed to upload IME sheet provided by Hospital. Or in case you are unable to give Medicals within 60 days of date of ITA due to some serious reason then you have to give clarification along with its supporting.

But if there is no reason for uploading IME and you thought that only Appointment would suffice the purpose then it is a grave mistake.

We can provide a medical exam within 60 days, our appointment is at the end of this month. I remember that field was marked with an asterisk, so we thought we had to upload at least a booking confirmation.

If i go by previous threads on this portal, your application will prolly get rejected. You might wanna confirm with someone professional attorney in this case maybe. But mostly not uploading IME is the reason enought for refusal.

Why did you submit the application if your medicals were not done? Everyone knows you need to do upfront medicals and then submit the application.

But we have received a letter from IRCC on May 4th that we need to upload the medical before July 7th. This was the statement:
 Medical: You have provided proof that you have made an appointment for the
immigration medical examination. To avoid further delays in processing of your application, please upload the upfront medical to your MyCIC account upon receipt.
Then deadline to upload was marked as July 7th.

You won't get an IME form in GCKey from IRCC unless is a medical ADR. The process is that your panel physician has eMedical where they register you and generate your IME form to submit instead. I see in the other responses above that you've made an appointment, make sure to leave the hospital with both forms and carefully listen to what you need to upload to IRCC. You should be all good.

Hi everyone.
We asked the medical staff and they are saying they can generate only UME (upfront medical examination) form, but not IME. Is it okay? They are saying we should ourselves bring IME form. Is that correct? I am confused
