I think FSW are getting their UCI and Medical linked. Hope they start processing CEC to since the strike has ended.

Yeah!! Even I don’t understand on what basis they are prioritising the applications … as long as if the IRCc officers inside Canada are processing the applications … then why are they not working on CEC applications ☹

What makes you think CECs are not getting processed? You are already BIO and MEP in most cases. You won't get the same updates and it gives the illusion that your application isn't being worked on. On top of that you are April AOR, this forum doesn't provide statistical significance to say FSWs are processed faster. I see way too many FSW(outside the forum) in the same boat as you do.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about anything just yet.

>Immigration Minister Sean Fraser says about 100,000 decisions regarding immigration files were not processed during the strike.

So, they added 100k backlogs now. Which doesn't appear to be much - at worse it could mean that they'll take till end of summer to get rid of backlogs or maybe a few months. Further, we don't know what applications are those, could be a lot of student, passport and visitor visa backlogs. Feels like PR applications should be very teeny-tiny part of it and the workforce that deals with PR processing is still going through relatively less percentage of backlog added.

I agrée that for CEC .. bio n Med mostly they come along as we already gave the biometrics n medicals also they are considering old ones … but during the strike n these days … CEC AORs are lagging for initial updates than FSW Outlands .. might b coz u guys need to give biometrics so that could be the reason .. that’s good

Need Help. Yesterday i found out that I have filled-in a wrong NOC even though I have submitted my application to the IRCC on the 5th of Apr.
I have raised a webform to correct my mistake and explained what happened. Does anyone know if I should do something else and if they will amend my noc to the correct one?
Thank you for your help
Any recommendation if other steps need to be taken to correct my NOCs?

There are cases for you that raised a webform post AOR for NOC and got PPR:
1. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/wrong-noc-after-aor-urgent.576745/post-8654849
2. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/wrong-noc-after-aor-urgent.576745/post-8660704

To see if your NOC code corrections have been received by IRCC, file GCMS notes. You'll see whether the case processing agent accepted/rectified your NOC code or not. I usually never suggest GCMS routes or calling IRCC, but now is the right time for you to do so.
