My spouse applied for a Study Permit for the September intake and I applied for an Open Work Permit. This is her second application, the first one was refused based on misinterpretation of the information submitted (we requested the ATIP and the dates and facts were all wrong). Instead of filing for a judicial review, we chose to apply for a second time. The timeline is in my signature but she send her application on March 5 and we expect to receive a response on the second week of June if the 13 weeks of processing time doesn't change.

Have you guys given medicals upfront?

I'm applying from Chile, non-sds to Fanshawe College in Ontario. I did not needed medicals since Chilean residents are not required to send medical exam.

Application sent on March 5. Still no updates. I have biometrics registered from my first application, not sure if this will help my processing time (doubt it).

Will the process be delayed if we don't give our medicals upfront?

Hi,

Have you mentioned the job prospects in your country and your home ties (family members, properties, a secure job) ?
