Hi everyone

Application sent and delivered on 2 Apr online applicant AOR 22 April

Hi everyone

just want to ask if someone knows how much time IRCC takes to review the FP after receiving because they received my FP on 28 Nov and says we will review them shortly and only my test says it’s completed and rest of them are in progress except oath
Best of luck to you all
Thanks

I have the exact same situation. Are you with West office too?

I received my test invite on Nov 10, completed and passed Nov 21, yet everything in the tracker looks the same it did on AOR day, with the test section showing not started.

I emailed them earlier this week asking if all was okay with my test completion... no reply/no change.

My invite was on November 10th too! And it was from West office. Mine only updated on November 8th to show background complete and after that I received an email. But test still says "not started".

anyone who took the online test in november has seen it marked as completed in the tracker yet?
I took the test on 8th and it hasn't been marked as completed yet.
just wanted to update you that my status is updated and test shows as completed now. this happened a few days ago.

I had a ghost update on Nov 5 and that's it, background still shows in progress.

We must be in the same pile of not updated in the portal folks :)

A quick question for all of you experts who've taken the test:

1) It says not to take a picture of your face in step 6 while taking a picture of your photo id. I'm not sure what they even mean by this??

2) How did you guys take the picture of the id? did you use a laptop (built in camera) or an ipad, or did you just upload the picture from a file on your computer?

3) Better to take the test on a laptop or ipad?? or does it even matter?

Thank You, and appreciate your responses!

Hi to answer your question is best for the test is laptop or desktop with a webcam and you have to take picture with the webcam only and you can’t upload a file because there is no option to upload and when you start the test be careful and take your time to read properly and then move forward and it’s an easy process
Hope this helps and best of luck

- I used a laptop with built-in camera. Don't use Mac book, ipad is ok but personally I think laptop is the best way
- during the whole process you will be recorded, in preparation for the test, you can check your camera and the picture taken will determined if it will be valid.
- In step 6 what they mean is don't take picture of yourself, instead, you will hold the ID card in front of the camera , point the picture on the ID toward the camera that fit in the square that they set up ( you will know exactly what to do at this point, the instruction is very clear so don't worry). you can have so many attempts if you don't like the picture taken for some reason, blurry, for example.

I hope this helps and best of luck to you!!!
