hi everyone. i got an email said that i missed the test. i have never received any information regards the test before that. i wonder if i could reschedule the test? how long does it normally take to hear back from IRCC?
Sorry to hear about the email. Did you happen to find the test email in your junk/spam folder? For added safety, you can add @cic.gc.ca as a safe domain to never miss IRCC's email.

IRCC will contact you again with updated test invite, it may arrive in 2 weeks - 3 months there are no set timeline for this. Hope you get the invitation soon.

Cheers,
JR

It seems from your past posts that you were having issues logging in to the tracker. Did you finally get it? And do you check the tracker and email (including spam folder) at least once a week?

Hi everyone, just checked my portal yesterday and it seemed the glitches are fixed. So right now, my background verification and citizenship test are marked as completed, the rest are in progress. Can anyone shed some light on the following issues:
1) I was asked to resubmit a new english proof on October 2022 and I sent out the replacement within 1 day via email as they requested, until today on the tracker it still said they are waiting for my documents. I sent another followup email back in December as well, but no update. Does anyone experience this issue and know if they haven't updated the status or just not receive the doc at all?
2) Anyone know how long would it take from this stage to the next stage of receiving the oath ceremony invitation? As I plan to travel outside Canada for a big family wedding in Feb 2023 for 2 weeks, should I make the trip? Should I notify IRCC about my plan? Or should I wait in Canada until everything is done.

Your input is appreciated.

IRCC do not normally acknowledge through email unless specifically you request them to acknowledge the receipt of the email. To be absolutely 100% sure, you may want to give a call to the IRCC call centre to see if that has been put in your file.
The simple answer is no one knows - it can happen for you tomorrow or in the next 4-6 months. I do not think you should miss any family occassion unless you get a notice to appear for oath or interview. Assuming your submitted your application in April, I would say you can make the trip without missing any IRCC event. You do not need to notify IRCC given the fact that you do not have any interview or notice to appear for oath during that timeline. However, please keep in mind as I said before that it can happen anytime and there is still, maybe very slight, but still there is a chance that you may have to cancel your plan or have to reschedule if you get a notice to appear for oath.

I AM NOT AN EXPERT - JUST TRYING TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT I KNOW. PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISION.

Your input is appreciated.

Sure! Happy holiday!
Hi @W.H some applicants with similar timeline as ours have now started getting their prohbitions/lang/physicaldays completed now for Vancouver office. Mine are still in progress. Could you check yours and see if they are completed?

Thanks!

Just checked. everything is in progress, except the test.
It may mark as completed at any time for now. I saw some cases receive their Ceremony letter on the same day.
