I don’t think any one have case like me my wife got BG complete from 4 months and my child got finger print request which we have done and showed completed from November and since them radio silence and nothing is happening , why they did not send to us the test invite yet ?

Hi all,
I was waiting for background check update for 2 months, and January 10 my tracker was updated but there is nothing new, just before it showed "waiting on you" and now its gone. Background is still in progress, not completed.
Anybody experienced something similar?

Today, my bg was finally marked as completed about 2 months after I got the fingerprints taken. I already took the test 2 months ago, so I'm hoping that I'll get DM soon.

What are some criteria on the basis of which we can be granted urgent processing?
I have a trip planned for Feb 28, 2022 - I was hoping for a quicker processing time(by Feb 15th) so I can get an entry visa stamped on the new passport. I have had my tickets booked for 2 months, I am worried if I don't get the oath invite in time - I'd have to ask for a delay in the oath ceremony - which can eventually result in indefinite delay
FP, test, and background verification was completed on Jan 10th

Please advise the best course of action.

Not sure what the scenario is but If you want them to process your application faster, you can always submit a web form with a valid reason and write down the urgency, attaching the screenshots if possible.your application has to be eligible for urgent processing but just because you had travel plans might not going to convince the officer.

No it's still in process. How long does it typically take?

That isn't typical. BG is usually updated to complete the next day after fingerprints received.

Is there any APR applicant who is still waiting to hear the updates after receiving the AOR?
I received nothing from IRCC besides the AOR that came in July 2021....don't know what's going on with my application, this is very strange as there are no updates at all so far after AOR.

Same here. APR 2021 Application sent. BG Completed but that’s long time ago. Zero updates since July 2021

Your situation doesn't sound like it would qualify for "urgent processing". It might be faster if you use your original non-Canadian passport to apply for a visitor Visa to wherever you plan to go in Feb 2022.
