Paper applications processing has slowed down considerably. It moved only 6 days since beginning of August.

Hi all there is something I don’t understand , now after AOR how long we wait for the status to be updated for back ground check , and why some people get finger print and other got ground check completed ?

Hi all there is something I don’t understand , now after AOR how long we wait for the status to be updated for back ground check , and why some people get finger print and other got ground check completed ?

Background verification could take from 2 to 6 months. Fingerprints are requested to some applicants and that helps IRCC to resolve problems or errors that may happen if your name, date of birth and/or place of birth are similar to those of someone else.

Also is there any April applicant got back ground completed ?

Please check the spreadsheet, you can get a lot of trends from there, but yes some April applicants have BG verification completed.
