April 2021 - Citizenship applications

For me its been 6 months from completing the exam and 2 months from having all set as completed (except the ceremony).
Is there anything I can do to expedite the process? Maybe they just forgot my application :/

I received my citizenship certificate. My I am filling the passport form but this form is acting funny. When I click on READ Instruction nothing opens and also when I click on COMPLETE Form, nothing happens. ANy suggestion?

I dont think this is a thread for passport form filling inquiries, you may look up for appropriate thread to make sure you get relevant response.

Try using adobe reader if you aren’t already

Is there a way to know which office is processing my file? does the test invite email tell us?

Yes either by looking at the test invitation email address or by requesting ATIP notes.

Hey guys,
My citizenship certificate arrived in the mail this morning. My local office is Calgary and I took the Oath of citizenship on June 6. I wish everyone who is still waiting the best of luck.

After taking the test, it took less than 2 weeks to get the oath invite but not before the application stalled for around 9 months since AOR. My wife also submitted her application online April last year and already got her cert. last month so almost 11 months processing for her

Apr 2021: Application submitted (online)
Aug 25 2021: AOR
May 16 2022: Fingerprints requested
May 23 2022: Citizenship Test invite (May 23 - June 13)
June 06 2022: Fingerprints results received / Background completed
June 08 2022: Took the Citizenship test
June 10 2022: Citizenship Test completed
June 20 2022: Physical Presence / Prohibition / Language Skills - completed
June 22 2022: Citizenship Oath invite (July 6)

Processing Office: Vancouver

Congratulations. That was pretty fast from the Test completion to the Oath invitation. My test was completed on Feb 21st and am still waiting for the invite to take Oath.

My background check status changed back to "In progress" again. It was completed but again changed to "In progress". Does anyone experienced this before? Is this a sign of something?

Does everyone get invited for an interview? Or does it go from test completion to oath invite in some cases without an interview? Specially if processed in Ottawa.
I've completed my test 3 weeks ago but no interview yet. I see in tracker most people have gotten their interviews quickly after the test.

Need help!
I mailed my passport application along with required photos but just now realized that guarantor only signed the back of my photo and forgot to write the applicant name by mistake.

Will it cause a rejection? The guarantor has verified and signed on my driver’s licence photo copy that I sent along with the application but not sure how passport department will treat my photos. Hope they can validate that guarantor has signed the application and drivers licence that has my name on it.

I mailed my application yesterday only and can try to call Canada post to recall the package if it’s a big issue.
Please advise

Finally passed the test , but there was a pop up Screen opened by my video , I did not see it because I close it once it appear , is this will make a problem , also how long it takes to get the tracker updated by the test

Did you get an interview invite as well before the oath invite?
