Thanks strong faith for your reply ,is the test is full of dates that they need to memorize each and every date ?
Every single test is different, some applicants have indicated that they did not get any Dates questions, others got some, try to remember the most relevant dates such as Confederation (Canada day), read the book at least twice, and do the practice tests in Apna Toronto, Richmond Library and 414 questions from youtube, they will help you to gain confidence when you are doing the test.

Do you recommend that all family do test in one day ? Or each one do it in a single day ?
Also can I help them after we get the decking link to setup there photo Id and the personal Id ?
Or this is all in the first link?

Strange. I just got email from CIC about the Citizenship test as below :

========================================================
This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your
application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required.
All citizenship applicants between 18 and 54 years of age on the date they sign their application
must meet language and knowledge requirements to become a Canadian citizen. If this includes
you, you will need to:
• Demonstrate competence in basic communication in English or French.
• Pass a written or if necessary, an oral test on your knowledge of Canada and the rights
and responsibilities of citizenship.
The knowledge test is based on the information provided in the official citizenship study guide. It
is 20 multiple choice questions and you must get at least 15 correct to pass.
• The study guide is available on the IRCC website at:
On the same page, you will find more
information on how to prepare for the test.
When your application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, IRCC will send you
correspondence to invite you to a knowledge test.
====================================================

But I already finished my test on Jan-26 ,2022 & it shows completed on the tracker.

Does anyone faced this ? Does it mean I will have re-appear ? Or it is mistake ( tech/glitch) ?

Check the date of your email

Hi everyone,

today I received an update, everything other than the Oath converted to complete, except the physical presence is still in progress.

I was asked to send passport photocopies with translated stamps over 35 days a go, and I sent them via Email at this time.

not sure if it is normal to have this kind of delayed update to "physical presence"?

or maybe my Email to them was not received, as I did not get any confirmation of receiving it?

any advice?
should I send a web form for this or this is normal and can happen?

Thanks,
Ahmed

Has anyone here sent their passport copies without being asked? Will that help to expedite our prohibitions to be completed anyhow?

Hey guys, Montreal office seemingly woke up (had no updates since taking the test mid-December) and they're asking for passport scans, seemingly specifically because I had said that I don't live in Canada anymore. They're requesting me to first come back, and then send the passport scans - including the info pertaining to my trip back. Do I really have to return first? I live and work in the US now and have no plans to come back permanently. I understand that they want me to physically be present for the oath but I could come on short notice when they actually invite me to take the oath. It seems futile to make plans to come back for a week or two just to physically be in Canada when replying to the email, and then go back to the US right after.

Also, in case I don't have to go back to Canada, will it be possible to just do the translation process online (from here) without physically presenting the docs to a translation agency? I think I'd rather do that then go through the process of finding a translator here and then have them sign an affidavit.

I really need help on this one - I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation! Thank you!
