In my case, it was an updated in ECAS and new dashboard, indicating that FP were required and that they have sent an email with instructions, two days after the update I received an email from IRCC Vancouver with a pdf letter providing instructions and documents required to provide the FP. In the letter they also provide links to find an accredited private FP agency where you can go ta have your fingerprints taken. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/fingerprint.asp

I will take from 3-6 weeks after FP are sent to IRCC to see the update in the BG verification to "complete" status.

For the FB is it young person 18 or he is like 30+My background check is completed as of yesterday September 13th! So one FP request on the 13th and one bg check complete.
For an adult. The minor’s application hasn’t had any movement - I assume since he doesn’t need any of the requirements. I believe once the 2 adults have our requirements done, his will be done as well.

Hello, Just checked my app this morning...
2 Adults and 1 child in the app- Both adults have an update on 14th Sept - Background verification complete.

I have updated the spreadsheet. It is normal that minors don't show any progress until adult applications have been finalized.
Dear all - Happy to report that we got an invitation for Citizenship test! I have 3 weeks to complete the test starting 17th September! The invite came into my email about 2 hours ago!
New ECAS - I have updates on the same and Citizenship Test has changed to "In Progress".
