Hello everyone, has anyone heard anything from the IRCC since their application was received?

Hi All,

I need some advise.

I supposed to send my OUTLAND SPOUSAL VISA Application last week of March before my police clearance will expire (April 5) but I made mistake on the address of my husband instead of 12831, I typed 128311. Also, I forgot to put the complete address of my Parents and on that same page, I have my signature so we can't just edit the form and reprint it.

I am from Philippines and my husband is Canadian. I can't send him again those pages that need my signature with the correct address due to no international flights.

My question is, Do you think Immigration will accept that little mistake or better to correct it?

Since I stayed in Dubai for 7 years before, I have to submit my police clearance and now it is already expired (expired on April 5, 2020). DO you think Canada Visa officer will accept my expired police clearance? There's no way to get a new one at this moment. because the office is close to Authenticate that Clearance.

Thank you in advance.Keep safe everyone!
I would suggest you to post a new thread to get a response from seniors who may not look here.

Someone has posted in the February and March 2020 thread. Their application was delivered in March 2020, They inquired via email and IRCC responded stating that CPC Sydney is currently processing applications received before 12 February 2020 only with skeletal staff.

It is always good to rectify any errors in the documents submitted. Otherwise, they usually return the package with instructions to make changes. As per my understanding, you can correct the errors on forms and sign and e-mail the scanned copy to your husband. He can print those forms and include them in the application. With regards to Police clearance - they are not returning any applications lacking police clearance right now; however, if they need a fresh police clearance from you they may send an additional document request later. The most important police clearance would be of the country where you have spent most of your time since you turned 18. Please post your queries in other threads too to receive relevant responses from experts. All the best.

Thank you jasluke. Not all documents need original signature right? because what I did is I printed all the documents and signed it and send it to my husband (living in Canada).

Do you know the email address?

Hello Everyone
I have mailed spousal sponsorship outside Canada . It was received by CIC on April 27 2020 but I have not got any email yet. Is there anyone in the same boat?

Yes, that's right. Please review the document checklist - it specifies the type of documents and signatures needed.

There are many applicants with applications delivered in February and March 2020 -who have not yet received AOR. You can read through the respective threads of February and March 2020 Outland Sponsorships.
