Because we didn't supply a properly translated birth certificate for my husband.Hey just curious. Why was the application returned and had to be resubmitted?!
I read the same on a different forum where someone had enquired about their file from March. Their post was from a Month ago and they were also advised that Sydney CPC was still working on applications received prior to Feb 12, 2020. I am also a fellow April,2020 applicant and i received the same response - "the responsible office is currently processing applications received before February 12, 2020". I Understand its tough times and Covid may be slowing everyone down, skeleton staff may be working at such a slow pace if they are working at all, after all, no one knows the actual staff volumes at these CPC's. Provinces have been re-opening for a while now and the processing times should be improving. I am not sure where most of you are located in Canada, but being Canadian Citizens and Permanent residents, we have certain rights and a power to escalate issues. How do you all feel about escalating this to our MP's. I am sure sending cumulative requests may help attract their attention. Maybe we can start another thread and propose ideas on escalating this?Someone has posted in the February and March 2020 thread. Their application was delivered in March 2020, They inquired via email and IRCC responded stating that CPC Sydney is currently processing applications received before 12 February 2020 only with skeletal staff.
And if that doesnt work? Mass outdoor protest with big signs and loudspeaker directed at inside of processing centre.I read the same on a different forum where someone had enquired about their file from March. well, there is a big different between the two. the two are used for very different reasons also...And if that doesnt work? Mass outdoor protest with big signs and loudspeaker directed at inside of processing centre.
I feel gradually IRCC staff will be back to work; they're making arrangements for opening workplaces with better ways to deal with COVID - Read this for example https://www.cic.gc.ca/emp/msg/20200622-eng.aspI read the same on a different forum where someone had enquired about their file from March. Have you received AOR yet? if yes, when did you receive it?I am before Feb.12 and I heard nothing since mid March, like everybody else. I dont think Feb12 has any meaning today.
CPC-Sydney is not processing anything so far. Maybe July it will turn around.
Got AOR in mid February 2020.Have you received AOR yet? if yes, when did you receive it?
Oh okay! thanks for your response. I am guessing when they say they're processing up to Feb 12 - all they mean is those applications are still in queue for R10 check (completeness check). The transfer to the VO should be electronic - they scan the entire package at the CIO. Some Visa offices are still non-functional.Got AOR in mid February 2020.
Med/Bio completed in March.
App still at Sydney. So what they are saying about processing up to Feb.12 is FALSE, otherwise I would have movement since 4 months.
I wonder, when they transfer to VO, do they actually send the whole paper app abroad, or electronically transfer file?
Does anybody know?
Looks like you have applied for an Inland sponsorship. It will be wise to seek help from the Inland Spousal Sponsorship threads. Such as the March Inland Sponsorship thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/march-2020-inland-spouse-sponsorship.682394/Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing good.
We sent application on April 25th and delivered on May 4th, still waiting for the application response.
If we need to wait so long due to covid, can we apply for visitor visa extension by mentioning that we waiting for the application response and also attach the fee, docs to proof? Since visitor visa that anyone can stay for 6 months only.
Can anyone similar situation? experience please share!!!
Any whats app group?
Really appreciate your help and response in advance.
Sadly none of us have received the AOR. Applicants are waiting from late February onwards. Hoping things begin to move in July.Hello, does anyone receive AOR?
