Yeah fingers crossed! And hopefully it won’t take long for us to get our AOR and OWP.
Oh well we can only hope for that but otherwise as far as i know and i habe been reading around here there have been delays in their processing and some people who apploed in january end and february havent recieved the AOR yet and someone said they know someone who applied in february and recieved their AOR. So lets hope foe the best. My application was recieved on 27th March so i am hoping for atleast the AOR in the month of may.

Guess that’s the only thing we can do for now, hope for the best.

Well i hope they ask for it and not just send back the application only because of biometeics fee not paid and where as im my case i have already given my biometeics in canada itself while obtaining my viaitoe record before applying my application and also had my medical done and attached that too so i hope it doesnt go south.
It is advised to pay for biometrics upfront so as to avoid further delays, but it is not mandatory. If you have not paid when the time comes they will send you a request to pay for biometrics

When do you plan to do your biometrics? Are you going to wait for them to ask you?

One has to wait for IRCC to ask. They send an instruction letter which you take with you when you go have your biometrics taken.

Question: we're about to submit our documents for my wife's (American) sponsorship application. Currently, she's here under a visitor's record. For portions of the forms asking for her residence, do we indicate my address in Canada or hers in the US? Also, on form IM1344 Part 1 section 6; do I pick 'Spouse Living in Canada' or 'Spouse living outside of Canada'? Thanks!

Well if she is applying from within canada then you should mention spouse living in canada and for the address you should fill your address jn canada and not the one in usa as she is presently residing with you here. :)

I actually have a second question;

On the Generic Application Form (section 'Personal Details' row 10), it asks for her 'From' and 'To' dates for her visitor status. She's currently here on implied status for visitor record extension + will be here indefinitely under the inland PR application. What's the 'To' date that I should put there? Thanks!

Me, i put the expiration date on my visitors record but not sure if it’s correct to put that date. Waiting for answers from others too.

The date when her current status expires. The date they gave you in the visitor record. As that's the official date, you're never here 'indefinitely'
