Good luck!Hi everyone! I just submitted my application yesterday 4/17/2020. The waiting game starts now.
usually it's 6 to 8 weeks, but we're seeing some delay now. I haven't heard anyone who applied in February and got AOR, so it might be taking 12 weeks now.Hey there everyone. Does anyone know a correct time to receive the AOR from CPC after you send in youe file?
Thank you. And woow 12 weeks for just aor thays 3 months and i wonder how long they gonna take for OWP then. I hope its not that long because this comming 27th it will be 4 weeks since i application has been received.usually it's 6 to 8 weeks, but we're seeing some delay now. Don't think different signing dates will have an issue. As long as the signing dates signed are not before any of the dates listed in application. You are good.HI everyone! We submitted our application two days ago on the 20th! Very excited to get our lives going and make our residence in Canada official.
I did make a small mistake on one of our forms tho. If anyone has the time to give their opinion on it I would really appreciate. I'll link it bellow.
Anyways, thanks to whoever stated this thread and everyone here keeping us up to date on their application status.

ooof ok, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm hoping the officer will see it as an honest mistake and just let it slide. fortunately, I wrote in the correct year and month, so maybe it wont stand out too much or make any real legal difference. I still can't believe I overlooked something so obvious before submitting the application. I get now why everyone harps on the importance of signing all the required forms in the right place. Anyways, thanks for your input!Don't think different signing dates will have an issue. As long as the signing dates signed are not before any of the dates listed in application. You are good.
That said if the date is after IRCC received it, it might be an issue. That is a post dated signed application. I know that IRCC wont accept post dated citizenship applications but for PR sponsorship I'm not so sure. It may be an issue for them.
I actually have the same concern. I submitted my applicationfor spousal sponsorship without paying biometrics. I haven’t done biometrics even for my visitors visa application and I am worrying that my application will also be returned. But I read somewhere on the IRCC/CIC website that “during the processing of the spousal sponsorship application, the person you’re sponsoring will be asked to submit biometrics and medical”. So I was kinda hoping that they will still process it and will just ask for us to do the biometric at the lter part of our application.Just a question for fellow peoole here. Is there a need to pay fee for biometeics if you have already given the biometeics while obtaining the visitor record because i didnt pay extra fee for it while submitting my inland soponsorship application and OWP. If yes then is there a possibility CPC will send my application back to me or they can just ask for me to submit my biometeics if needed in later stage of the sponsorship application? Thank you
Well i hope they ask for it and not just send back the application only because of biometeics fee not paid and where as im my case i have already given my biometeics in canada itself while obtaining my viaitoe record before applying my application and also had my medical done and attached that too so i hope it doesnt go south.I actually have the same concern. For biometrics, if you have already submitted it for temporary resident statuS such as visitors, student, working etc, you will still need to do another biometrics for permanent residency application. The previous biometrics you gave is only valid for future TRV application within 10 years from the date it was taken.Well i hope they ask for it and not just send back the application only because of biometeics fee not paid and where as im my case i have already given my biometeics in canada itself while obtaining my viaitoe record before applying my application and also had my medical done and attached that too so i hope it doesnt go south.
Yeaa that i read it later on their website thays why i was hoping they dont send back the whole application just because of the biometeics and just ask for it in the later stage of the application when needed and still continue to process it for now.For biometrics, if you have already submitted it for temporary resident statuS such as visitors, student, working etc, you will still need to do another biometrics for permanent residency application. Yeah fingers crossed!
