hi all

I have a quick question, we applied citizenship together (myself, wife and kid), our tests completed and waiting for oath. just now received emails to take oath on oct 15th. but now iam in India due to my dad health issues. my question is can I reschedule my oath and my wife and kid can take oath on oct 15th or do we all have to reschedule and take oath on same day. can someone please confirm asap

any inputs? also if I comeback to Canada for oath, how soon can I go back to india? I mean to get citizenship certificate, passport etc, how long it will take? is there ay urgent process for these?

You would get the certificate no later than 3 weeks after oath. You may book a passport appointment before your certificate arrives. Pay for express pick service for your passport and you can pick up next day.

During your oath, you may indicate why you need the certificate urgently and they will make arrangements for early delivery or pick up.

With good planning, oath to passport can be completed in a month.

hey all. when I check my status online, I finally see that my test has been scheduled, however I have not received any emails. is this ok?
