However, rest assured that this situation is normal since the responsible office is currently processing applications received before January 14, 2020.

Most of the January applicants received their AOR. My personal interpretation of that message from CIC is, they are basically not working on any application now.

As of now around Jan 13th are being reported. If the speed and trend holds maybe 3-4 month wait further for AORS for April. All estimates at this stage though, there could be longer delays.

From one of the Facebook group I saw, people from January 27 also received AOR. I believe they are moving at a fair speed now.

That's good news! I guess it's also good to keep in mind that the people on this forum and registering on the spreadsheet are only a fraction of the real number of applicants. So this means there's probably a lot more AORs than we actually know about. A reason to hope!!

Yes, we have reason to be hopeful! Everything will eventually be sorted out, just a momentary tension. We all will finish the long journey soon!

Yes, as long as you meet the residency requirements for PR, and can come Canada for test and oath, if not both are online.
