As far as i know in most cases med extension seems to be the last stage.
I think ur background check must be done before the med extension..

If they send the note, maybe check it out. I am waiting for mine but I heard that they explain the detail of progress on your application there
I called agent on may 3rd, he said security not started and criminality in progress. I asked them medical is updated, they said that is the latest update and asked me to wait and they cannot expedite.

Some applicants have stated that when they filed a request for GCMS they received a GU. Since it is unclear what causes GU and what it is for, it is just speculation.
To know what the GU was, since it just indicates some movement, you will have to call IRCC or see your GCMS notes.
Would you please share the dates of your criminal check and security was completed?

Can you please tell when were your Medicals extended. I am April 30 and got notes in February and looked exactly like your approved and all.

Contacted MP nothing worked
Someone from here told me to send email to Etobicoke my local office. I did and next week, they extended my medicals as they were expired in March2021.
Now it has been 2 weeks since they extended my medicals.
My mental Health at the moment is really bad
Is there any harm in sending the same email again to Etobicoke.
Please help me
I applied as married but non accompanying spouse and spouse is in canada on OWP.

I gave biometrics on Oct 9 and the background check was completed on Oct 31. I think background check includes both criminal check and security. I have the notes but will need to look into the notes later today and get back to you.Would you please share the dates of your criminal check and security was completed?

I did not receive any email or notification regarding medical extension. On the note there should be a due date for COPR. I believe they will issue COPR before that date. My VO is Edmonton.

There are many application on hold or have been delayed. No need to be concerned.
Also, you can send another email, that would not be an issue.
