Hi, hope everyone is keeping safe,

Could any of the experts please help me with an issue I am having with my application?

1. IRCC system calculates the duration in months and years. So if you are a few days / weeks short of meeting the year, you may be awarded points for it without actually having completed the actual year. However, it is the applicant's responsibility to ensure they meet the program requirements for which they apply.

2. Your fee will be refunded if the processing of your application has not yet begun. See https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=613&top=4

3. You can immediately make a new profile, there is no waiting time.

How does COVID-19 impact the time it will take to process our PR applications?

All the best for your application.

There will be delays due to COVID-19 for sure and many offices are yet to open. While IRCC continues to work, there is significant slowdown.

CEC inland (with common-law my spouse)

ITA ARP 15
AOR ARP 24

Did not ask for criminal record but I attached the letters I got from RCMP (fingerprints taken) and Toronto Police for myself, not my spouse.

We haven't done any Biometrics before since our PGWP was issued back in 2018, are we going to be asked for Biometrics?

Yes, you will have to give biometrics when asked. See https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

Thanks for your reply. And can I do that ahead of time or I have to wait for their instruction?
you will receive a letter of instruction, usually after the medicals have been declared passed. Nowadays, with the COVID situation, it takes 40-50 days after AOR to get biometrics letter of instrcution. Even if you have the bio letter, you can't submit your bio as all Service Canada offices are closed.

You will have to wait for the letter from IRCC, after which you can make an appointment with the closest VAC where biometrics are done.

Hi @legalfalcon, I have an issue. I recently received an AOR. I recently found out that a previous canadan visa application was previously denied when I was a minor. Unfortunately I didn’t disclose this in my application because I didn’t know till now. What are my options if I already received an AOR? Also do we need to add any flag poling to travel history?

You can go ahead and send a webform and explain it. No big del and since you were a minor, you had no control. No need to be concerned about it.
