Online Application (for TRV) from Canada for the infant in India
Timeline:
Confirmation of Online Application Transmission - April 19
IRCC WEBMAIL to NDVO- 7 May
Passport Request (online account) - 8 May

That's what happened in my mother case, the sequence in which everything happened for her, file submitted >> bio request >> bio done >> bio updated online >> background and eligibility started >> received an acknowledgment letter >> received bio validity letter >> online account got approved and got Passport request.
This is what I have seen on forum too.

Just I will apply for TRV visa in next week and I am wondering what are the best way to apply ,Is it Online or on Paper?. I have been go through the online application just to check and I have faced issue regarding that when I finished the application form (Stuck Point), Should I print out the application form and sign it and then uploaded online or Should just Validate the Application form and get the barcode No and save it on PC and then upload to my account?..
I need your advice guys and thanks for your cooperative.

For online application, no need to print the application form. Validate only.

Here’s the timeline for wife’s TRV I submitted online from Canada.

Application Submitted:- 22 April 2019 Online from Canada.
Submission Confirmation:- 22 April 2019
Biometrics Request:- 24 April 2019
Biometrics Submitted:- 25 April 2019 at VFS Delhi
Biometrics Updated on Account:- 25 April 2019
Eligibility Review Started:- 06 May 2019
Acknowledgement email Received 06 May 2019

Guys, any idea how long it takes to get correspondence email or decision.

Did you receive your correspondence and PPR. my parents have the same timeline.

I am assuming since you are expecting a PPR, so you filed online. It sometimes take a day or two to get a decision after Correspondence.

4 April 2019 application submitted through vfs Karachi
4 April 2019 has been dispatched to OC from VAC, email
5th April application under process at the IRCC Office. Email
9 May validity if biometric information

Online applications do not require you to print anything for uploading. Just save it on your PC. Update it, validate it and then again save it. And upload once complete.

You can validate it as much as you want but do not forget to save it everytime you hit "Validate"

Hi folks,

How much time it takes to get Acknowledgement letter if applied on paper?. The trv application is being processed in Abu Dhabi VO.
The bio metrics are updated in CIC account but there is no email regarding the validity of the biometrics.
